About this work

Bench of walnut with poplar wood interior. The corner stiles are decorated with slightly curved pilasters with filled cannelures at the top and Ionic capitals, which form the front of the raised side walls. The back wall is raised to the backrest. The front apron, the backrest and the inner side of the side partitions have elongated panels, decorated with punched braid and framed by bands in intarsia. The middle part of the seat serves as a lid. The side walls are flat on the outside.
