About this work
Armchair of walnut. The furniture has an upholstered seat and rests on front legs in the form of S-scrolls and jointed back legs, resting on flat balls and connected by an X-shaped cross. The armrests are hollowed and end in scrolls, decorated with acanthus leaves. The armrest supports are vase-shaped and jointed. The free-standing corner posts of the openwork back are baluster-shaped and jointed. The middle rail shows scrolls, knobs and acanthus leaves; the posts on either side only scrolls and acanthus leaves.
