Linen damask napkin with the coat of arms of Cornelis Hop. Central field: symmetrical pattern of diverse volute scrolls with blocked thickenings at the nodes. Between them a horizontal oval shield with the coat of arms of Cornelis Hop (1685-1762), ambassador at the court of King Louis XV of France: quarterly, 1 and 4 a head-bird standing on a globe (the bird of 1 reversed, that of 4 looking back); 2 and 3 two wings reversed. Escutcheon divided: 1 a fess, 2 a five-pointed star on the right, a wassenaar on the left. The shield is crowned with a five-petaled crown. Supporters: on the right an eagle reversed, on the left a lion reversed. Borders: armorial trophies. Corners: a roundel. All around a block border.
