Linen damask napkin with the coat of arms of Cornelis Hop. Central field: symmetrical pattern of various volute scrolls with blocked thickenings at the nodes. Between them a lying oval shield with the coat of arms of Cornelis Hop (1685-1762), ambassador at the court of King Louis XV of France: quarterly, 1 and 4 a head of a bird standing on a globe (the bird of 1 reversed, that of 4 facing); 2 and 3 two wings turned away. Heart shield divided: 1 a fess, 2 a five-pointed star on the right, a wassenaar on the left. The shield is topped with a five-petal crown. Supporters: on the right an eagle turned away, on the left a lion turned away. Borders: armorial trophies. Corners: a roundel. Around: block border.
