Neck scarf of needle lace with intersecting delicate spiral vines

Necktie slip of natural-colored needle lace: flat Venetian lace. Apparently messy but symmetrical pattern with a vertical axis in the middle from which sparse, intersecting spiral vines move, bearing small star-shaped flowers and three-leaf flowers. In the corners stand small lily-like flowers directed diagonally inwards. The motifs are made with closely joined festoon stitches, with cutouts creating simple patterns in various flowers and leaves. The motifs are connected by a hexagonal ground with picoted bars. The upper side of the strip is finished with a bobbin band. The underside and two short sides are finished with a bow edge.
