About this work

Strip of natural-colored needle lace, transition from Venetian lace to point de France. Pattern with numerous animals, birds and quadrupeds (dogs and deer?), worked into a fine pattern of vines, flowers and flower vases. Open ground with hexagonal picoted spiles. One long side is finished with a picot border of triangles.
