About this work

Strip of natural-colored needle lace, point de France. Pattern with narrow C-shaped motifs on an irregular ground with picoted spindles. Full work decorated with cut-outs, no relief. The underside is finished with a straight edge with picoted arches. The upper side is edged with a border of bobbin lace. The strip belongs to an ebony dollhouse cabinet.
