About this work
Coffee pot of porcelain on a high, spreading foot, egg-shaped body, short S-shaped spout and high C-shaped handle, painted on the glaze in green, black, and gold. Decorated on the shoulder with a band with grapevines on one side and flowers and leaves on the other. On the neck a leaf vine. Gold lines on the foot, shoulder, and rim. The handle ends in a monster head, the spout in a lion's head where the opening forms the mouth of the head. Marked on the underside with crossed arrows and GN.
