Cradle curtain or skirt of applied lace with Redout roses on a branch and snowballs above curved feathered leaves

Cradle curtain or skirt of Brussels applied lace: bobbin lace applied on drochet ground. Long rectangular model with quarter-circle rounded bottom corners. Along the two short sides and continuing in the underside runs a double border pattern, with on the outside semicircular shells. Inside the border pattern, up to the long side at the top, the field is scattered with motifs. The shell border is formed by a repeating pattern of equal circular arcs of always one feathered leaf with on it a flower cluster, a snowball. Above this shell border pattern runs a repeating pattern with always a large redout rose on an obliquely placed branch with thorns, three leaves and two rosebuds. The rose branch is in a half-circular leaf branch, along which on the inside bunches of mimosa or berries run. The motifs are made in linen stitch and net stitch and are provided with bobbin relief contours.
