About this work
Fan leaf of black bobbin lace: Chantilly lace. Within a frame of C-scrolls stands in the central field a pattern of three large flower branches. Around the frame of scrolls runs a flat shell border of larger and smaller rosette flowers and leaves. The motifs are connected to each other by a mesh ground. The motifs are made in net stitch and one type of decorative ground is used, around the motifs run thicker contour threads.
