About this work
Fichu of cotton cheesecloth, triangular, decorated with a floral border tamboured with white cotton. Model: triangular. One side with selvedge, the other two with rolled hem. Worked diagonally on the grain. Decoration: in the point center back leaf with tamboured border and heart of needle lace, flanked by tamboured stems and flowers with ditto leaf with speckled heart of button stitch. In the point also a branch with fruit (grapes?), leaves and a flower with heart of needle lace. One side of the fichu unadorned.
