About this work
Insert of natural-colored bobbin lace. It is possibly intended to be used as a decorative border in a sheet. The pattern consists of two narrow bands with in between a wider band with a repeating motif of a wheel, which is flanked on the left and right by a sun. In the narrow bands, rows of five diamonds made with braids over the motif, always with an interruption to the next motif. Top and bottom side of the strip are finished straight.
