Piece of appliqué lace with a water lily at each end

Cravat of natural-colored applied lace: bobbin lace applied on machine-made tulle. Elongated rectangular model. Scatter pattern of few oval leaves. The ends are decorated with a water lily-like flower, made with a bobbin lace ribbon that forms the contours of triangular flower petals. Several leaves and thin curling garlands surround this flower. The bobbin lace motifs are made in linen stitch with cutouts and partly provided with contour lines and picots. The scalloped edge along the sides comes from a series of ovals which are a little bit larger around the slightly widened ends.
