Cravat of natural-coloured machine-made tulle with embroidery - whitework with plumetis - and around a border of machine-made lace: machine-made Valenciennes lace. Long rectangular model. At both short ends a bouquet of forget-me-nots is embroidered with next to it the letters M J. The cravat has a smooth applied edge along the long sides and a double pleated edge of machine-made Valenciennes lace along the short side. The lace has a pattern of stylised branches with a knot and a leaf. The scalloped edge along the underside is finished with picots.
