About this work

Reticule of natural-colored bobbin lace on a lining of ivory-colored silk crepeline. Pouch-shaped. The front and back have the same open pattern of a star-shaped picoted network of braids, with in the center an openwork three-lobed motif. The edges of the bag are trimmed with a lace strip. To close the bag a knotted cord is threaded through six crocheted loops. The cord consists of one piece. At the bottom a tassel of ecru-colored cotton.
