Shawl Collar of Batiste with Embroidery of Wheat Ears and Incrustations of Machine-Made Lace in the Form of Two Flat Arches at Each Point

Shawl collar of natural-colored embroidered batiste, finished all around with strips of machine-made lace: machine-made Valenciennes lace. Narrow trapezoidal model with pointed ends. From the straight bottom edge towards the points two lace incrustations are applied, on each side two linked flat arches. At the knot and the ends of the arches is embroidery - white work with plumetis - with two ears of corn, one or two rosette flowers and broken grass stalks. The batiste is sown with flowers on the inside and fuller with flowers on the outside. The lace strips have a scalloped edge of arches with an oval above each scallop.
