About this work
Prayer rug with two transverse panels, KULA. Central field: grey-white mihrab with columns in beige, two oil lamps standing in the center, and a tree motif. The spandrels are pale blue with rows of beige irises. One upper and one lower transverse panel with zigzag lines in blonde and blue tones. Border: a wide border with a blonde ground, on which flower branches are arranged in square shapes, in the same tones. Narrow side borders in lavender grey.
