About this work

Cuff of lace embroidery: machine-made tulle with cutwork. Rectangular model with scalloped edges. The cutwork symmetrical pattern consists of a rose above a decorative band with a zigzag and gimp. On both sides of the rose stand two obliquely placed volute leaves between which three small rosette flowers and below which a large incised leaf, which points with the tip to the corner where there is still a rosette flower. The upper side of the cuff is finished with a hem. The other sides have lobed scalloped edges, which are finished with festoon stitches.
