Strip of appliqué lace with double rosette flowers

Strip of natural-coloured appliqué lace, bobbin lace applied on machine-made tulle. Scattered pattern with flowers on a fine hexagonal mesh ground. Repetitive motif that along the lower edge forms shells with three rosette flowers alternated by two narcissus-like flowers. The stems of the three rosette flowers run vertically upwards and cross each other halfway the strip width. Over the crossing of the stems lies a smaller rosette flower. Above the two narcissi is a symmetrical motif with two curved leaf branches, with also here on the crossing a rosette flower. The large rosette flowers are doubled and consist of a large flower, with a smaller flower applied over it. Motifs worked in bobbin lace in linen stitch and relief contours with a thicker thread, flower work. Various flowers at the bottom are made of bobbin-worked ribbon lace. The top side is edged with a border of bobbin lace.
