About this work

Lounging chair of satinwood. The six baluster legs are connected by raised rails. The armrests are S-shaped. The two open backrests have a wide rail at the bottom and are provided with stretched arch-shaped crowns; below the top rail, a border is applied, consisting of a central leaf motif flanked by linked C-volutes. The legs, housings, rails, rails, back stiles and armrests are covered with carving consisting of C-volutes, curling foliage, flower and leaf vines.
