About this work
Skirt of white cotton with red tambour embroidery. Straight skirt of three fabric panels. In the middle, from the front, at the waist, a wide piece kept smooth, at the back a smaller piece, next to which the fabric, with lining, is gathered. Over this a beige ribbon. Skirt decorated with patterns of floral, volute and spiral scrolls. Lined entirely with white linen.
