Strip of bobbin lace with arches between which are small feathered leaves

Strip of natural-colored bobbin lace, Lille lace. The repeating and continuous pattern consists of arches, between which always one single-sided feathered leaf protrudes. Along the lower edge runs a continuous line of inverted arches. Along the upper edge, above the arches, a fine diamond mesh ground, the tulle ground, is applied. Below the arches a decorative ground is used, a rose ground. The arches and leaves are made with thicker and shiny threads. The upper edge is finished straight. The shells along the lower edge are finished with picots.
