Strip of natural-colored Dutch bobbin lace. The repeating pattern consists of a symmetrical composition with three peonies. The middle peony hangs from a straight stem downwards and is more or less trapezoidal in shape. From the straight stem springs a curling stem with elongated narrow leaves to the left and right of this flower. At the ends hangs a more or less round flower. The motifs are made in linen stitch with openwork edges. The motifs are connected by a lattice ground with braided stitches. The top and bottom of the strip are finished straight, with a separately bobbin-made band sewn along the top and the bottom provided with picots. The short sides are finished with a hem.
