About this work
Square palm shawl of wool and silk (?) with a plain natural-coloured central field. The borders have a running pattern of leaning botehs, with inward-facing small volute tops, formed by colour cut-outs. The horizontal borders fill the full width, the vertical borders abut against them, so that the corners are careless and all four have turned out differently. In the concentric lined botehs stands a moss-green flower in the pocket, a red-pink in the top. The rough wool fringe appears to be sewn on.
