About this work

Collar of machine-made lace: machine-made Venetian relief lace (etching lace). Lightly curved rectangular model with shallow round neckline. The symmetrical pattern consists of curling flower vines and C-scrolls. Relief around flower hearts and some leaf edges and C-scrolls. The motifs are connected to each other by a machine-made needle ground with picots. The collar is finished all around with an arch border with picots.
