About this work

Strip of natural-colored bobbin lace: old Flemish bobbin lace with plait ground. Pattern with symmetrically composed flower pots with an irregular plait ground with picots. The ground runs behind the motifs in various places. Work in linen stitch with cutouts and filling of motifs with decorative ground. The upper side is finished with a straight edge. The underside is finished with a shallow shell edge derived from the pattern.
