Band of machine-made lace with rose sprigs between C-scrolls along the lower edge

Strip of machine-made lace: machine-made Chantilly lace. The repeating pattern along the lower side of the strip consists of C-scrolls from which rose branches spring. The branches partly cut through a sparse leaf vine that moves along the upper side of the strip with arches and loops. The motifs are provided with contour threads and are connected to each other by a machine-made tulle ground. Decorative grounds are applied in the motifs. The shell edge along the lower side of the strip originates from the pattern with the C-scrolls and is finished with picots. The upper side of the strip is finished straight.
