Jupiter, After a Model for a High Relief in the Amsterdam Town Hall (now Royal Palace) at Dam Square

He stands frontally, on his left leg with his right leg bent on a projecting plinth, before a framed flat background; his head is turned slightly to the left. His right arm is slightly bent, his left hangs down by his side; in each hand he holds a bundle of thunderbolts. A thin belt runs across his chest, holding the mantle which falls from his left shoulder over his back, is wrapped around his loins, and leaves his entire upper body and a large part of his legs uncovered. To the right of the god stands on the ground an eagle looking up at him with spread wings, its left claw on the globe; behind him is a ram facing left.
