Shawl of Bobbin Lace with Semi-Circular Arches

About this work
Scarf of black bobbin lace: Chantilly lace. A long rectangle shows on a somewhat coarse mesh net a closed, two-sided symmetrical decoration. The straight, barely scalloped outer edge by fine rosettes is accompanied by a wavy list of stretched S-scrolls with acanthus leaves. This list is ended on two sides by a tight semicircular arch, lined with leaf ovals. In the middle stands a wreath of anemones (?), from which loose branches and garlands hang. In the corners stand grape leaves.
