About this work
Strip of natural-colored appliqué lace: needle lace applied on machine-made net. This type of lace is also known under the name: point d'Angleterre. Two-thirds is scattered with leaves, one-third consists of a symmetrical shell border of a rosette and an open medallion, connected by sickle-shaped leaves. From these medallions grows a waving, cut leaf to the left.
