About this work

A pointed widened back piece connects two long, narrow tails with widened ends. A garland of linked wheels is laid in a loop five times, within which is always a rose sprig. The roses show applied relief of half-moon-shaped petals. The bouquet in the back piece consists of three hanging rose sprigs. The three- or five-lobed leaves are all divided by the midrib into a tightly closed half and an open half with speckles. Point de gaze de Bruxelles.
