About this work
Triangular scarf of natural-colored bobbin lace, Brussels duchesse. A closed pattern is connected by a plaited ground. In the broad back piece stands a robust spiral branch turning to the left with pinnate leaves and three large composite flowers. Left and right are placed symmetrical, decreasing spiral bars. Along the straight top runs a narrow border of spiral bars. Along the point stand grape leaves and bunches of berries of the Guelder rose.
