About this work

Fichu of natural-colored bobbin lace: Mechelen lace. Triangular model. A grid ground (Mechelen ground) is strewn with blossoms. In the back point stand three large plumed spirals, in the ends one each. From this grows an asymmetrical bouquet, among others with a tulip. In the upper edge runs a wavy branch, from which in the middle a sparse vine hangs, which is taken up, with a bunch of flowers on a bow. The shallow shells consist of arches of rose motifs, interrupted by a large rose. In the points still three tied flower bunches.
