About this work

Guimpe of natural-coloured bobbin lace, fine Bruges flower work. The guimpe is rectangular with widened ends. The background, half mesh, half bar ground, is divided by an arch border. On the mesh are some scattered twigs with berries and a border of 'buttercups' on stems.
