Strip of bobbin lace with a zigzag pattern

Strip of natural-colored bobbin lace: Parisian lace. On a closed needlepoint ground stands a double symmetrical zigzag path of stretched s-shapes placed diagonally against each other. Between the paths stand loose cloud bands. The bottom of the strip is formed by interlocking brace motifs with more or less fan-shaped motifs underneath. Most motifs are made in linen stitch. The circles in the upper zigzag path and motifs along the bottom of the strip are made in net stitch. All motifs are surrounded by a thicker and shiny contour thread. As a decorative ground a rose ground is applied. The top of the strip is finished straight. The brace motifs with fan-shaped motifs underneath form the scalloped border along the bottom of the strip, which is finished with picots.
