About this work
Strip of black bobbin lace: Chantilly lace. On an empty lattice ground lie along the heavy and broadly scalloped bottom hollow horns of plenty, from which smaller horns protrude, which are stopped by round C-scrolls. From the horns rise twisted branches with anemones, tulips, narcissi and lilies of the valley. The shells show alternately a fan of leaves and a thick garland of anemones and other flowers. From the inside with linked rosettes hang fine tendrils with small flowers.
