About this work

Knob chair made of hard wood with smooth turned stiles and cross-rails; front legs and back stiles ending in finely turned knobs; back sloping backwards with four flat cross-spindles; seat of woven rush, twisted on top, straight underneath. On the chair, a loose cushion without flaps with remnants of bows.
