Jug with medaillons, birds and flowers

Stoneware jug on a ring foot with a pear-shaped body and wide neck. The C-shaped handle is attached to the neck and shoulder. Profiles on the neck and foot. Partially covered with cobalt blue and manganese purple. The front of the belly with in relief various printed and applied decorations. Four times an octagonal medallion with the inscription 'IHS' surrounded by two men, an angel and a heart. These medallions are alternated with five times a vertical band with angels, a bird and a medallion with Justitia. On the neck a horizontal band with angels and flowers. Westerwald.
