About this work
Jug of stoneware on a high foot with an egg-shaped body and narrow neck with pinched spout. The handle is attached to the neck and shoulder. Profiles on the neck, belly and foot. Partially covered with cobalt blue. The lower part of the belly with canelures and the widest part with profiles and a stamped decoration. The vaulted shoulder is slightly narrower than the belly and decorated with incised work. On the neck in relief a printed and applied mask. Attached to the handle a tin mount with lid with on the inside an illegible mark. Raeren.
