About this work

This cupboard is made of oak, yet this is entirely concealed beneath an expensive ebony veneer embellished with ivory. Even the interior of this painstakingly crafted cupboard is finished with exotic types of wood. Only the very wealthy could afford such sumptuously decorated furniture.
