About this work
Two walnut cupboard doors (presumably from the upper half of a cupboard). The doors are, within a molded frame, in flat relief decorated with medallions surrounded by scrollwork, decorated with allegorical figures representing Smell and Feeling (?). Above and below the medallions, the four elements are represented by allegorical figures.
