Strip of bobbin lace with a double three-petaled flower

Strip of natural-colored bobbin lace, old Flemish lace. The repeating and continuous pattern consists of a three-lobed flower mirrored over the length axis alternating with two elongated leaves. The simply designed flowers are not entirely identical to each other, the top flower has more pointed petals. The motifs are connected by a latticework ground, a five-hole ground. The motifs are made in linen stitch with contour threads. In a space between the elongated leaves, which bend over each other, a decorative ground is applied, a snowflake ground. The top edge of the strip is finished straight. The bottom edge is finished straight with picots.
