Strip of appliqué lace with a row of arches and sparse twigs

Strip of natural-coloured Brussels appliqué lace: needle lace applied on drochel ground. The repeating pattern consists of a row of openwork arches with sparse tendrils at the ends. At the lower side of the strip spring sparse branches with always three openwork round flowers, which reach up to the arches. Between the arches stand some scattered flowers. The sparse full work is enclosed by widely festooned thread bundles. The upper side is finished with a separately bobbin-edged band. The almost straight finished lower side is provided with very fine picots.
