About this work
Jug of stoneware on a high foot with a globular body and wide neck. The C-shaped handle is attached to the neck and shoulder. Profiles on the neck and foot. Partially covered with cobalt blue. On the belly and shoulder, a mirrored decoration of incised leaf motifs filled with chip carving, alternating with a stamped rosette. The belly and shoulder are separated by a profile. On the neck, in relief, a printed and applied band with leaf vines interrupted by medallions with masks. Raeren.
