About this work

Stoneware jug on a ring foot with a globular body and short, wide neck. The C-shaped handle is attached to the neck and shoulder. Profiles on the neck, belly and foot. Partially covered with cobalt blue. The lower part of the belly with fluting. A wide band with profiles and zigzag lines separates the belly from the neck. Thereon a band with stamped floral scrolls. On the neck in relief a band with leaf scrolls between linked heart-shaped medallions and round medallions with a mask. Raeren.
