About this work
Stoneware jug on a high foot with a globular body and a long neck with a pinched spout. The C-shaped handle is attached to the neck and shoulder. Profiles on the neck and foot. Partially covered in cobalt blue. On the belly, cut out in blue, an incised decoration of flower vines and bands with triangles. On the neck, two bands with stamped heart shapes and a band with an impressed zigzag line (knibis). Blue lines on the neck and foot. Westerwald.
