Strip of bobbin lace with five shell variants with a flower above

Strip of natural-colored Brussels bobbin lace. The repeating pattern consists of a scallop edge formed by a lying leaf, a lying flower branch or a curved decorative band above which always one or two strong flowers. This occurs in five variants. The motifs are made in linen stitch with openwork edges and sparingly applied cutouts, some parts are made in net stitch. Cutwork relief contours run around most motifs. The motifs are connected by a fine trellis ground, a droschel ground. Around some flowers a coarse decorative ground is applied and in some decorative bands a fine snowflake ground. The top of the strip is finished straight with a separate cutwork band. The scallop edge is finished with picots. The two short sides are finished with a hem.
