About this work

Strip of natural-coloured Brussels appliqué lace: bobbin lace applied on machine tulle. Scatter pattern with two rows of circles, or large openwork flowers. Shallow regular arches along the lower edge, which at the crossing to the next arch always forms a loop. The arches are bobbin-edged in linen stitch and set off with smaller picoted arches. Relief contours along the motifs with a thicker thread. The upper edge is set off with a bobbin-edged band.
