Monstrance

The object is composed of parts that were chased, hammered, cast, sawn or forged, and attached by means of soldering, brazing or using pins. The design is poor. Notable are the cherub heads on the node, the forged scroll ornament below against the buttresses, the two rosettes with five-petaled roses in the center on the spherical lid and the four protruding leaves on either side against the base of the lantern. The lunula, the cylinder glass and parts of the lantern are missing.
