About this work

Stoneware jug on a high foot with a pear-shaped body and a wide neck. A profile just below the rim and the C-shaped handle attached to the neck and belly. Partially covered in cobalt blue. The jug is largely covered with a relief decoration of small printed and applied medallions with a rosette against a blue background. On the foot, some incised lines, one of which is filled with blue. Westerwald.
